We are now halfway through the year. We’re at the end of Q2 and about to enter Q3. How are you feeling? Are you happy and proud? There’s so much to be grateful for as you look back at the first half of the year. 

And what are you looking forward to? What does December look like for you? It doesn’t matter when you’re reading this, push ahead to the end of next December. What is it you want to accomplish?

Who do you want to become?

How greatly will you serve others?

These are all questions for testing yourself. A few weeks ago, I wrote about deserving. You deserve the best things in life. You get there by growing. And you grow by testing yourself. What once were limits are now foundations.

If you lift a ten-pound weight and every day, you do three sets of ten bicep curl reps with that weight, soon you’ll find that the ten pound weight you started with is just too light. 

The weight didn’t change. You did the reps. You changed.

Testing yourself is about doing what it takes to get what you said you wanted. And that last part is about you trusting yourself enough to hang in and do what it takes to get there. Most often, the only way out is through. When things get tough, because when you’re growing, things are tough, stay on your path, stay focused, get support by reaching out, and drive through. 

Trust yourself to be able to actually own the things you want. Test yourself by going after them.
